I enjoyed every part of this conversation with Laura Tremaine. Laura's new book Share Your Stuff, I'll Go First was the foundation for this helpful conversation. In her book Laura invites all of us in to process and share our own stories by first sharing her own. I loved this book, and I loved this conversation. It is a rare gift when someone shares about their life in a way that invites you in to do the same. Laura's honesty is just like a key that makes you want to unlock and share your own story - whether that is with yourself, a friend, or a therapist. We both share a love for therapy, and discuss this at length - and I know this will be helpful for anyone wanting to know more about what therapy is actually like. Laura's openness really breaks down so much of the stigma some might still hold about therapy. We also discuss how there's always a place to share everything (this is good news), but not everything should be shared in every place.
